This sword is made by the very essence of herobrine soul. 

It's sole purpose was to destroy notch. To do such a feat the sword possessed incredible abilities. 

The sword ate & destroyed souls without a problem & can destroy the very atoms of any object. But what made it dangerous it was the fact that it could negate anything in it's way or simply canceling anything in it's way. Even cancel out the reality warping powers of notch to some extent.
