First do /effect (Your Name) Then put in the effect name, you can use tab to quickly get it. Example: /effect @p speed - This (obviously) gives you speed. Then put in the duration (in seconds) Example: /effect @p speed 60 - This (also obviously) gives you speed for 60 seconds. Then put in the amplifier. Example: /effect @p speed     60 2 - This (still obviously!) gives you speed 2 for 60 seconds. Finally put in if you want to hide the particles (use true or false) Example (no explaining): ------------------ /effect @p speed 60 2 true
