Minecraft Manhunt OneCommand 1.14.x, 1.15.x and potentially 1.13.x [1.16.x command on my profile- this one is heavily improved] (Like Dream on YT) by pleonasmic

**THIS TAKES LEGIT 2 MINS TO SET UP IN A REALM/SERVER (NO MODS/PLUGINS NEEDED)**
(best on easy difficulty for non-speedrunners to lower chance of death by mobs)
  + works with any amount of players so i recommend putting all the other
  players in spectator mode while u are setting it up
  so they don't fuck around or just set it up until
  step 2 before telling them to hop on

once the round is over i.e runners are dead (or in the rare case that the ender dragon is actually beaten)
you may wish to reset the world: a good idea would be to create a backup of the world after setup is complete
and reload the backup after u done to save some time.

HOW THIS COMMAND SETUP WORKS:
- Hunters get a compass and carrot on a stick(this is what is used to get the direction of a runner)
(the carrot on a stick is stupid but this is the best u gonna get without plugins as there is no other way)
-right clicking with the carrot on a stick updates the compass tracker to the nearest runner
-compasses only remember the last update on their position i.e don't constantly follow the runner- only the last time u clicked (which is what dream has)

STEP ONE: copy the big ass command i made and activate it in a basic command block with a lever or redstone torch: bruh im so happy it turned out this well

STEP TWO: (assuming every player that is playing is in the realm/server)
 assign players teams using 

        /team join Hunter <player>
                and /team join Runner <player>

**I MADE IT SO ANY AMOUNT OF PLAYERS CAN BE IN EITHER TEAM- MIX IT UP FOR MORE FUN like 1R/1H, 1R,2H, 2R/2H or 2R/3H**

do /spawnpoint @a ~ ~ ~
^^[this is necessary so do this in a spot where you want the hunters to respawn]

do /clear @a

do /kill @a

^^[This is going to tp everyone into the same place obviously so just tell them not to move so no one gets an early adv- This will also give the hunters the compass and the rod (they get a 'new' one every time they die so they always have one)- both of these do not drop on death to avoid inv clutter]

(tell ur stupid ass mates in spectator mode not to fly too high or they will fall
to their death after this next command is done)

***begin the round using /gamemode @a survival*** (only bother doing this if you put everyone in spec to begin with or you are still in creative)

Prolly should give the runners like a 10 secs headstart bc its fucking aids when the hunters cheese the win in the first minute
