How To Lock Chests in Minecraft by mission minecraft avatar mission

en 1.8+ /blockdata Chest sets

To lock your chests, stand on top of the chest you want to lock and paste the command below. The chest is now locked and can only be opened using the item you wanted to open the container with.

This also works with other blocks that store items (example: Brewing Stand.)
