Easy to install

The first step is to take off the cover that was originally installed. The original cover needs to be removed before the replacement cover can be fitted.

Once you have removed the old cover After that, use a flathead screwdriver to pry out the four major attachment clips on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are highlighted in red on the photo below. Also note the tabs that locate slots that are highlighted in yellow. They need to be disengaged as well.

After removing the battery replace it with a new 3 volt coin cell battery. Make sure that the "+" positive side of the battery is aligned to the opening of the fob, and that the"-" negative side is facing the buttons made of rubber.

Reattach the passenger-side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. After you've done this, place the fob for the driver side back in your vehicle and test it by pressing the push button on the front of the car key. If everything is working correctly the parking lights will be turned on and the doors will automatically close.
