A player can upgrade the equippable items by interfacing with item upgrader NPCs. Each upgrade boosts a stat, and certain upgrades can unlock additional stats, too.

To activate the EZ Upgrader, the player must select "Interact" while interacting with dice outside of the restaurant during Preparation Mode. Afterwards, the EZ Upgrader will create blueprints for ingredients or appliances. Appliances with neon blue borders have a 0% probability of appearing in the shop or on rerolls while staple appliances such as the Danger Hob and Power Sink will not be made. Ingredients and Equipment that do not belong to the Staple Pool or the Non-droppable Pool will also not be manufactured through the reroll or shop.

The item upgraders allow players to alter the stats of equipped weapons and armor beyond 385 levels. The gear can be upgraded to boost the power of your spells, physical strength, or health. The maximum level of these upgrades is limited at 400, while the cost to upgrade increases with each step on the ilvl track.

Set bonus

However it is not possible for a set bonus to be increased through normal fusion.

Some sets have several options. The first one offers the basic bonus, and the rest improve based on the number of items worn beyond the basic amount. For example, the Fables of the Feywild offers the set bonus at two items that are equipped and a superior bonus when you wear more than that amount.

Benthic gear is available from Voidbinder Zorlan or Voidbinder Strzah in Mezzamere in exchange for Prismatic manapearls. After you have purchased the Benthic piece that can be upgraded by using these manapearls in an upgrader for the item to gain level and additional stats. You can also reroll items that have identical stats by with the upgrader. The upgrader, unlike enchantments, will not apply the same effect over and over. The item that was used to upgrade the item will remain consumed.
