World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The feature of upgrading items lets players upgrade their equipment. This can be done by any item upgrader NPC.
you can try these out increase the main stat of an item, and can also add additional features based on the type of item. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs or Goldwrap for build casters.
Armour
Armour is one of the main factors that keep Link protected from damage in all situations. Although it isn't able to be upgraded like weapons, it can be improved in a variety of ways to improve its defence capabilities.

The basic idea of armour is to safeguard animals or people from physical injury or harm in the form of direct physical attack or a range of environmental and activity hazards. Historically, the majority of armour was made of fabric or leather, but metal protections were also employed, especially for military applications like heavy cavalry and combat drones.
As with weapons there are a myriad of ways in which armour can be upgraded, however, most of them will require a visit to one of the four Great Fairy Fountains located throughout Hyrule. Each fountain offers a different degree of improvement with more protection levels requiring more rupees and other materials.
First, Armor Upgrades are permanent upgrades. Once they've been put in place, they can't be removed until you own a different piece of equipment that has the same upgrade. It is crucial to only apply the most effective level of upgrades to your gear and ensure that you have the required materials to complete the process.
You can find the upgrades you require in a variety of places around Hyrule. These include shrines, merchants, and even enemies. They are typically marked with a blue triangle or a gold circle and are available in large numbers as you progress. While they may appear randomly, there's a chance that acquiring certain upgrade components will lead to a quest that will reward you with more.
It's important to keep in mind that even though the amount offered by each upgrade could differ but it will always be higher than zero. This is because a complete set of upgraded armor will grant you a high defense boost that will protect you from all kinds of attacks, except magic and makes it a formidable tool for any class.
Weapons
If you'd like to make your guns distinctive, you can upgrade them by utilizing a variety of unique upgrades. These upgrades can increase damage or alter the performance of the weapon to match your particular build. They can also unlock new attachments such as unique enchantments, various kinds of ammunition, and aesthetic options.
To upgrade a weapon you'll need to have an upgrade component in place and the item itself. The weapon must be above a certain level for the upgrade to take effect and most weapons can only accept one upgrade at a time.
There are weapons upgrade components scattered throughout the world and from enemies or bought from a merchant. Upgrade components are a mix of ingredients that you are able to put into weapons, armors, trinkets and gathering tools in order to gain an attribute bonus. The equipment must be at a certain level in order to accept the upgrade. It can be upgraded the same way as other items.
The upgrades themselves are a mix of Smithing Stones and Runes, and are used for enhancing the stats of the base weapon and enhancing its scale with other stats. These upgrades can be purchased from enemies in the open or from merchants. They can also be dropped by combat.
There are two NPCs who can upgrade your weapons: the Blacksmith Hewg in the Roundtable Hold hub area and the Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor hub area. Both of these NPCs accept your Smithing Stones or Runes to upgrade your weapon.
It's crucial to prioritize upgrading your best-in-slot items first, then items that you won't need to replace in the near future. Upgrade your weapon first, then upgrade your chest, shoulders, hands, and feet if you plan to play in a melee-based build. The same principle applies to Magic and Utility Items. But, depending on the style you play, certain items will be more useful than others. The same is true for Armour, with some reforges having superior performance over others.
Magic Items
A character is able to upgrade only one item of magic. If an upgrade plan is cancelled and the next upgrade for that item will not begin. Upgraded magic items cost twice as much gold to make or purchase, but can have additional benefits.
A magical item is any item with special properties or effects. The majority of these items are weapons, but some are also armor, shields as well as cloaks, potions scrolls, rings and other objects. Some of these items may be converted into a sentient.
Many magic items can have their abilities enhanced. This can make them more useful to a player or help players overcome difficult situations. Infused weapons can offer bonuses to damage against a particular type of enemy, for instance. This is particularly useful for those who have reached the point where they're likely to face one type of monster repeatedly in the dungeons.
An infused ring might confer immunity to bludgeoning, piercing or slashing injuries from nonmagical attacks (not even silvered ones) until the next time the character is taking a long rest. This is especially beneficial for melee fighters or anyone who wishes to get rid of the expense and hassle of buying a shield.
Some enchanted items have special abilities which allow the character to cast spells in addition to those on the list of spells for their class. This is a great benefit for a character who has difficulties keeping their spell slots full because of multiclassing. These enchanted items generally require an Intelligence (Arcana) check prior to use them, and the spell cast is determined by rolling a table determined by the number of Intelligence points expended.
Other objects with enchanted powers could permit the character's appearance to change or create a brand new one. These items are especially useful for characters that were forced to leave their home or located in an area where they may not be welcome. An item that is magical can provide them with an invisibility effect, or make them invisible to everyone other than a selected person.
Utility Items
Utility items are equipment which doesn't fall under the categories of Clothing or Armor and come with a range of capabilities. In contrast to weapons and armor and Clothing, no utility item can conflict with another. Most utility items provide a passive effect that the player can activate by using them however, some come with additional capabilities that are activated when the user presses the button or activates a skill.
The Flashlight is the most popular utility item. It lights up the surrounding area. Other items that are useful include the Helicopter Cap and Rocket Boots which allow the player to float in mid-air while moving and the Jetpack that allows the player to accelerate in any directions when on the ground. In the Engineering section you can instantly produce several utilitarian items, whereas others are unlocked by Research projects or Experimental projects on the Proving Ground.
Players can unlock more powerful utility items in addition to those available in their regular inventory by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop or from seasonal Scoreboard rewards. Certain of these items are upgradeable for more effective use.
The majority of utility items boost the combat ability of a particular character or give the player a kind of advantage when it comes to navigation. For example, Sharpening stones created by the Weaponsmith increase Ferocity and Power, while Maintenance Oils crafted by the Huntsman improve the power of concentration and healing. Other items of utility like Writs and Theses crafted by the Scribe can be used to give the player either a boost in damage or condition damage.
XCOM soldiers can equip one utility item to begin the campaign. An additional slot is available after completing certain research, engineering or experimental projects on the Proving Ground. In the Alien Hunters downloadable content, additional slots can be obtained by equipping a Grenade Launcher. This enables the player to make use of the Smoke Grenade or Bomb while an offensive grenade remains in the primary slot.
