Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot is a special slot that lets you bring pistols in to an operation. When you use this slot, you need to remember that you will need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, like the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, in order to select the appropriate category. Slot for Smuggled Items

The smuggled items slot is an amazing feature that allows players to bring weapons and tools into the game, but it could be improved. It's currently designed as a pistol which makes it hard to distinguish the smuggled items slot from other slots in the gear.

The smuggle slots can be used to store a wide assortment of items, from concussion devices and explosives for weapons to more subtle concussions. These items are covertly stashed in hidden locations around the map, and can be found at any time. The items that are smuggled differ from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small items in the scenery or objects.


Mission planning is a feature that is available in episodic missions that lets players unlock different starting locations equipment, smuggled items, and slots prior to their entry into the map. As players advance through challenges and unlock new Mission Mastery levels, these options for planning increase. This lets players plan the perfect task for each challenge.

Gear Slot

The slots for gear will quickly fill up in the early stages of the game, leading to the frequently-repeated message "Your Gear Slots are Full". This message will prevent Max to pick new equipment until the previous items are taken away or space has been obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They provide more inventory space to complete challenging missions. However, since many of these challenges are scattered across the globe and are easily missed it could take an extended time to obtain the largest amount of inventory slots that are available in the game.

Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. These are to be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to breaking in. Each gear item (except for the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot, while a grouping of similar items (such as Grenades in a grouping) can only use one Gear Slot.

Pickups by agencies

As you advance through the Mission Mastery levels you unlock various agency pickups on the map. These locations allow you to store an item that does not fit into your slot for weapons or gear and retrieve them later.

These pickups are especially useful if you have to go through a frisk at the end of the game or if you're carrying a weapon that could otherwise be suspect. You can only conceal one item in a pickup location.

This DLC also includes new asset protection and security contracts to the agency. Contact the receptionist at the agency and stock up on snacks and other items. Then, walk to the designated marker and locate a mob at the time of arrival.
