The NFT was created in collaboration with an unknown artist and will be auctioned off within a couple of weeks. The core of the NFT is a piece made of carbon fiber composite material that was sent to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2019 as part an experiment. Carbon fiber was 3D-printed for the base of every Space Key. Each Space Key is linked to an exclusive digital artwork by way of the QR code. Only five Space Keys were produced.

NFTs are unique identification numbers that can be recorded on distributed ledgers, such as the Blockchain and linked to a digital asset such as images. It's a hot topic with those with more money than they have common sense. So it was only an issue of time before automakers decided to cash in.

Space Key is made up of five units. It was created using a piece of carbon fiber composite, which was delivered to the ISS back in 2019. More details will be made available in the coming weeks and days, including the name of the artist who created the digital art work and how to purchase one of the five Space Keys.
