Concealed Weapon Slot

The concealed weapon slot permits you to bring pistols into the course of. Some players utilize this slot to achieve certain goals particularly those who are going for Suit Only. Others simply prefer to have the additional pistol to make a gap closer. If you are using this slot, it is important to keep in mind that you'll need to click on the corresponding pistol category button, like the alternative slot 2 for machine guns, to select the category of your choice. Major Expedition and Adept Rider are active, which makes it simpler to use. This combo also adds a damage tick from Concealed Weapon every 10 seconds as long as you have it placed in.

Smuggled Item Slot

The smuggled items slot is an excellent option for allowing players to bring tools and weapons, however it could benefit from a more streamlined option. It's currently shaped like the shape of a pistol, making it difficult to differentiate the smuggled weapon slot from other slots for gear.

The smuggle slot can hold an array of items, ranging from small concussion devices to explosives that are weapon-grade. These items are covertly stashed in a hidden location on the map, and can be retrieved at any time. Smuggled items are different from Agency Pickups or Hidden Stashes which conceal small items in the scenery or objects.

Mission planning is an option available in episodic missions. It lets players discover different starting points, smuggled objects, and gear slots before they enter the map. The options for planning increase as players complete challenges and obtain higher Mission Mastery levels. This allows players to prepare the ideal mission for each challenge.

Gear Slot

Early on in the game players will notice that their gear slots get full, resulting in the common "Your Gear Slots are full" message which prevents Max from acquiring new equipment until the old ones are cleared or more space is obtained. Hogwarts Legacy Merlin Trials are the solution to this problem. They give players more inventory space to complete challenges. However, since the majority of these challenges are scattered throughout the world and can be missed, it can take some time to get the largest amount of inventory slots available in-game.

Each player can have up to five different kinds of gear in their five Gear Slots. These must be selected from the Gear Selection menu prior to a Break-In. Each gear item (except the Pistol) will take up one Gear Slot while a set of similar items (like Grenades of the same kind) only takes up one Gear Slot.

Agency pick-ups

As you progress in Mission Mastery levels, you unlock various agency pickups throughout the map. These locations let you store items that don't fit in your weapon or gear slot. You can retrieve them later.
