The Commercial 1250 can track your heart rate with the SmartBeat wireless chest strap (sold separately) and the treadmill uses that data to automatically adjust the speed and incline based on your ideal training zone. This feature, known as ActivePulse is a major reason why I like the Commercial 1250 over similar treadmills for this price.

The treadmill also comes with iFit programming, which comes with a large library of workouts and videos featuring elite runners and coaches. The iFit program also offers guided runs that can take you to locations like Patagonia. If you prefer not to use iFit, the treadmill will still work but you won't be able to access the automatic adjustments or the intense training experiences.

The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 is a bit heavy for a folding treadmill and requires a substantial amount of space for operation. It is easy to move though, and the treadmill comes with an extended warranty of 10 years. The warranty is longer than some other treadmills at this price range.

Its iFIT workouts incorporate AutoAdjust technology which means that your treadmill will automatically adjust the speed and incline of your exercise in accordance with the trainer's instructions (requires the SmartBeat heart rate monitor - available separately).

The 1250 Folding treadmill also features 10 inches of HD touchscreen. It pivots and tilts and allows you to navigate iFIT without having to press buttons. The screen is at the ideal height for me and easy to use. You can easily listen to your trainer with built-in 2 2-" speakers or connect your own Bluetooth headphones to fully immerse yourself and keep focused. If you're running the iFit 1250 Folding Treadmill also has an AutoBreeze fitness fan that is built-in to keep your cool while you work out.

You can train on any terrain using the 12 incline and three decline settings. The Commercial 1250 comes with 1.9-inch rollers. They are not as big as those on the Peloton Treadmill but should be sufficient for most runners and walkers.

The ActivePulse technology to track your heart rate is another amazing feature of the iFit 1250. This technology automatically adjusts your speed and incline throughout your workout to maintain your ideal heart rate zone (requires the SmartBeat chest band, which is not included). The iFit retails for $1999, which is less than the Peloton Treadmill, but still provides an outstanding experience.
