Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile, multi-purpose stroller. It can be transformed from a single stroller to double strollers by adding the second seat (sold separately) or glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is able to be set up into a triple-travel system by adding a bench or infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations in total and is the most highly rated stroller. This model uses Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics, which aid in thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It's 20% smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a moderate-sized sunshade and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping handlebar is among of the most simple to adjust and works well for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and there is an adjustment button for the footwell to assist you in positioning your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is large however we would prefer it had a latch that was more secure. It's easy to access, but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they need to be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
The City Select, like its counterparts, has single-action brakes that are simple to set up and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It's barefoot and sandal-friendly and is an improvement over the clunky toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the other models use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that is able to accept two infant car seats making it an ideal option for twins or parents with a single child and a new baby on the way. It is compatible with most major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is a great option for families that already own a car seat but are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it. However, you may prefer a convertible stroller for this scenario.
