Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to commemorate the brand's centennial. Made from Dark Stained Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying 'B' paperweight, a set keys, and a brochure with never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre images.

Aesthetics

As a design-centric company Bentley takes its aesthetics seriously. It is evident in the precise placement of its quilting, the use of leather derived from by-products of cattle and sustainable-managed forests, and the innovative patterns of its levers. As you approach a vehicle like the Continental GT W12, its stunning design is accentuated by carefully curated lighting.

The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever designed. The rear tonneau of Continental GT, for example included the largest piece of dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer that was book-matched. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

It is this bespoke design, attention to detail and craftsmanship to detail that has established Bentley as the most sought-after automotive brand. The company continues to push the boundaries with the latest technology and craftsmanship. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear sunroof and a handcrafted Apple iPad docking station.

A century after its founding, Bentley - now under sole Volkswagen ownership after years of fighting with BMW and BMW - celebrated its centennial in 2019. Before pandemic planning took the spotlight, the marque had a range of special events and launches planned to celebrate the occasion.

The Bentley Mulsanne key has a button that opens the trunk and another that can start the car. The key also comes with a switch that allows you to turn on the parking brake. There is a knob to fold and unfold the mirrors while parked in tight areas. This feature makes it easier to get in and out of your car.

Bentley's distinctive design reflects company's values of excellence in craftsmanship engineering expertise, as well as cutting-edge technology. Personalisation

These could range from picturesque vistas to sporting events. When each selection is made, a pattern will emerge which shows the models and colors of the custom Bentley.

The configuration that is created is loaded onto individual R.F.I.D.-enabled keys that are then presented to the guests in a custom key case. Keys can also be equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps which light the door's opening pathway with the owner's name, or emblem as they approach the vehicle.

Bentley says it takes roughly 500 man-hours to design and assemble the average Mulsanne. One of the main reasons for that lengthy effort is a conscious refusal to embrace the latest technology. The Crewe factory workers do not use a machine to space perfectly-matched cross stitched leather seats. Instead they do it by hand. Instead of using the car's built-in sensors guide it into perpendicular and parallel parking spots the drivers must perform the task by hand.

Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization capabilities with a unique Mulsanne W.O. Edition, which pays homage to founder William Osler Bentley.
