What Do You Need To Know To Be Ready For Item Upgrade
Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the amount of random enhancements used.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens let you buy a new item, like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or purchased at the local store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by weapons and melee attacks while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades with enhanced capabilities require a common item, while rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
In the end, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being leveled up, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can take between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank account. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for players who are new to the game. There are a variety of ways to acquire these stones, such as contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition, players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling

Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgrade to a higher level. This process continues until the item is at its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. In contrast to enchantments, upgrade components don't stack against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be used and a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can put in equipment that needs that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. When a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons trinkets and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be swapped with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to boost the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item vary depending on the item type but generally, you'll need Dilithium and a variety of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be obtained from many sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting during bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Certain upgrade components have additional modifiers that can increase the item's statistics.
For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve an exact roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of the item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you have completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any
item upgrader NPC.
