1. Baby Jogger City Tour Double

The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller within the Baby Jogger range. It's designed to travel and easily fits through most normal doors thanks to its slim design. It's also one of the most lightweight double buggies on the market, weighing just 14lbs when folded. This makes it ideal for traveling with a toddler and newborn since you won't exceed the luggage allowances of airlines. It can also be folded up into the size of an incredibly small travel bag which means you can put it in the back of your car.

It's simple to fold the Z-shape using one hand. Once you've gotten used to it, it's small and takes only a few just a few seconds. Our test subject found the auto-lock a bit difficult to understand, and also because the handlebar doesn't lock in its position when you push it and it landed on her leg when she was using it. She also felt that the handlebar was a bit shorter than she would like and especially with the large changing bag hanging off it.

This double stroller is not as lightweight as other travel buggies. It comes with a wide range of features, and is among the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately), features multiple recline positions as well as an UV 50+ canopy. You can also add an additional bassinet to one or both seats to transform it into a travel set-up.

The four rubber composite tires are ideal for pavements and urban terrain. However, they were not made for off-roading. They had trouble with gravel and long grass and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel, so mud stuck easily. Our tester loved this vehicle, and it was able to climb beautiful hillocks that were muddy.

Our test participants found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to navigate, even on rough terrain or when turning on an area with a lot of traffic. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was also a big hit.

The hoods were also simple to adjust for wind or sun protection. Our test subjects did notice, however, that they did not provide the same amount of coverage compared to something like the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods and it's worth packing a rain cover in case of need.

Overall, our test participants loved the way that the Nipper Double allowed them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla on a variety of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rush to the park for a quick playdate. The testers were also impressed by how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There's plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. Our testers did mention, however, that the absence of parent-facing seating and the inability to use car seats with this buggy was a drawback and they would have liked to have seen more storage space for shopping and other gear.
