17 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Not Ignore Best Robot Vacuum And Mop Self-Empty
Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases
Self-emptying bases make robotic vacuums worth the money, especially for those who have large homes. This means that you don't have to empty the bin several times throughout the run, which keeps it running more frequently and keeps your floors clean.
Its Lidar navigation does an excellent job of mapping and you can make use of the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. However, it couldn't get around obstacles like furniture legs as well as the j7 and Q Revo.
1. iRobot Combo J7+
The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is the first from iRobot. It is a re-imagining of the iRobot J7 robotic vacuum, and adds a small reservoir of water, a robotic arm that can raise and lower mopping pads, as well as some new sensors. The result is a highly efficient two-in-one cleaner that we found superior to mopping-free robotic vacuums.
The Combo J7+ doesn't come with the features of smart mopping that our top pick does however it still cleans well. It has a very efficient brush roll that is effective on hard floors as well as carpeted rooms. It can be able to get between furniture and rugs without a problem even on steep staircases. It has a strong suction that we were impressed with, though it's not as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.
What makes the Combo j7+ apart from other robot vacuums is its mopping feature that uses a small rotating brush to scrub the floor. SmartScrub is the feature iRobot refers to and is akin to the way a mop would scrub floors. It can be activated by room in the iRobot app.
The j7 Plus is simple to set up and use just like other iRobot Robots. It is also easy to maintain. The dust bin and water tank are both movable, which means they're easy to clean. And the iRobot app lets you view videos on how to maintain various elements of the machine, including changing the mopping pads, and filtering the dust bin.
The only real downside is that you are able to mop with the iRobot Combo if your mopping pad is attached and if its 210 ml tank is filled. If one of these is missing, it just vacuums. The iRobot App lets you monitor the water tank and receive notifications when it is low.
2. Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is a low-cost robot that does a great job vacuuming and mopping. Its mopping performance, especially given its price, is awe-inspiring. It mops well on carpets and hard floors and picks up fine to extra-large debris (think hair tangles, kitty litter, cereal of various sizes). It also does an excellent job of cleaning up the dried stains and spills. It is also great for cleaning stairs and places that are easy to become stuck.
The mopping system makes use of rotating pads to scrub your floors and remove dirt and grime, even from stuck-on areas. The pad is also thoroughly dried by circulating 45 minutes of warm air after each cleaning, preventing mold and unpleasant smells. You can control the robot using the Roborock App or your voice to start mopping, change settings and more.
Its vacuuming is also top-notch. It features an impressive suction and a high-efficiency filter that can handle small to massive debris with ease. The only issue is that it doesn't work as well against pet hair on carpet. Ten percent of pet hair remained on our test surface after two vacuuming cycles at maximum power, but this isn't unusual in the vacuuming world.
The Q Revo is a top-quality product, with its excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It also has excellent mopping and cleaning capabilities. It's not as effective as a top-quality mop and robot vacuum, but it's still an excellent option for anyone on a budget. Plus, it charges up to 30% faster than the previous models and is compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This provides a lot more functionality for a small cost. 3. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum / mop robot that works well and comes with amazing features for a reasonable price. The setup was easy and took just five minutes. After removing the tape used for manufacturing and the protective plastic scanning the QR code within the app gets you started. The app is intuitive and guides you through the process with ease. Once you have it set up, you can begin mapping and cleaning.
The app allows you to create maps and modify the layout of your home. The app can also divide rooms into smaller parts to better cater to your specific requirements. For instance, you could create a map for the kitchen area and another one for the living area and let the robot clean the floors of each room at different times.
As compared to other robots that I've tested in the past, the Yeedi Cube has a unique design that gives it a more industrial feel. Its base station is more modular than the others, with the dirty water tank and auto-empty feature on one side, and the vacuum on the other. The reusable mop pads are also distinct. They are inserted into the top of the robot and are connected to a handle on the front, making it easy to remove and refill.
The vacuum is as efficient as any robot I've examined, and it comes with two brushes on the sides instead of the single brush found on many models. This improves the coverage area and reduces the chance of debris getting lost behind walls and furniture. However, it does have some issues with the detection of objects and a tendency to run at full speed through objects, like a tassel rug in my office.
4. iRobot Braava Jet m6
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is a great choice for maintaining your hard flooring. It does a fantastic job and will keep them looking great. It's not able to vacuum like other hybrids and it can't move from hard floors to rugs or carpets. But, with its long battery life and intelligent mopping capabilities, this model is an ideal option for small and medium-sized homes.
It works in dry sweeping mode as well cleaning up to 1000 square feet at one charge. It is also able to map your floor plan with the iRobot App and clean rooms in sequence using compatible Roomba Vacuums.
In wet mopping, the m6 makes use of precision sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It was fascinating to watch and it was able to remove even the most stubborn dried-in coffee stains and juice stains from my floors. It is possible to set it up to use less water or greater than the maximum amount set by the app.
The iRobot App is among the most user-friendly on the market. It makes it simple to sync with your home WiFi. It offers a number of user-friendly functions including scheduling, room partitioning, and establishing no-go zones. This gives you complete control over the machine. You can also see how much power remains in the battery so you know how long it will last before it has to be recharged or docked. The m6 is available at My Robot Centre in the UK for PS499, the iRobot store in the US for $399, and on Amazon (where it's currently available for sale).

5. Shark RV2610WA
The price of vacuum and mop robotic cleaners is a major problem. They are convenient, but they can also be expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with XL HEPA Self-Empty base, which we've reviewed here is priced at $699 / PS559 / about AU$1,054. If you don't want the charging base, it will still cost $549 /PS395 / approximately AU$675.
The Shark RV2610WA is a great option for those who require a robot that is able to tackle both mopping and vacuuming. It can also deep clean stubborn stains using the stain-lifting device included in the package. The app lets you program the machine to clean your floors on a certain day and time, and it comes with a smart feature that allows you to control your robot even when you're not at home.
The Shark vacuum cleaner is effective in vacuuming and is able to remove the majority of debris. However, it's not as effective on carpets. It's easy for pet hair to be trapped in the brushroll and the dirt container can fill up quickly. It also has a number of parts that need regular maintenance and replacement, which can result in recurring costs over time.
For the money There are better choices on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus, for example, offers much better performance on bare floors and high-pile carpets. It's better built and has a bigger dust bin and can move over obstacles such as electrical cords better. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's worth the extra expense if need a versatile cleaner that can handle both tasks with ease.
