Roasting
Lazy Sunday is light roast that is easy on the palate. It softens and transforms into warm to your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth the brew while Africa adds citrus notes for balance. The result is a coffee that can be consumed on its own, with cake or milk chocolate. It would complement vanilla cakes with lemon drizzle and lemon sponges.
We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Preheating your vessel by adding water that has just been boiled will keep it warm. After the coffee is brewed, allow it to sit for four minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are fully saturated and not over extracted. The water should be moved through the grounds using the plunger. Do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this could lead to unpleasant elements in your cup.
Strength - 3 is gentle and easygoing, great for relaxing weekends.
Storage
Lazy Sunday is a smooth light roast with the sweet, citrus and cocoa aroma. It has a soft and supple mouthfeel. The cocoa hints can be traced back to a winters afternoon spent on the couch with a good book and an embrace from the family. To brew your coffee, first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This is recommended to stop the coffee from over extracting and forming unwanted elements in the drink. Add your grounds along with 250ml of water that just boiled. Then, after four minutes, you can take a take a plunge, and then enjoy.
