This Is A Best Robot Vacuum For Carpet Success Story You'll Never Believe
The Best Robot Vacuum For Carpet
Whether you've got low or high-pile carpet there's a robotic vacuum for you. These machines are intelligent and can automatically navigate around your home, and can scoop up dirt and clean under furniture.
They come with advanced features like mapping, which help them navigate through your home and help you remember where furniture is. They can also increase suction power to tackle dirtier areas.
iRobot Roomba 694
The Roomba from iRobot is a basic robot vacuum that works well on both floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It has a good suction and is able to clean up most debris, though it has trouble with bigger debris such as rice or sand. It is effective in cleaning pet hair but isn't as strong against tangling as the premium Roomba models such as the j7 and I6.
The Roomba is easy to operate. It has three buttons on its cover: 'Clean' initiates a cleaning cycle and 'Dock' allows it to be put back into its charging station, and 'Spot Clean' activates a targeted clean. You can control it via an app for smartphones that lets you schedule cycles, stop/start the cycle and change settings. It is also possible to pair the device to smart home devices such as Alexa or Google Assistant to control it via voice.
This vacuum is a bit slower than the others, however it's still able reach the majority of crevices and corners. It has a huge dust bin, which is great for reducing the frequency which you must empty it. It's compatible with digital maps and virtual barriers that let you restrict it to certain areas or to stop completely cleaning if you want to keep it from getting stuck on something.
Although it's not the most efficient model for its price however, it's superior to many other alternatives. The Roborock E4 has a better cleaning efficiency than the Roomba 694 and it can clean both low-pile and bare carpets. It also follows the most efficient cleaning method and has longer battery life. It is also more comfortable to use and has fewer parts that need regular maintenance, is less expensive to own over its lifetime, and charges faster than the 694.
You may also want to consider other models in the iRobot range, such as the v7 or the 981. They're more expensive, but they are significantly better than the 694 in terms of cleaning performance on both bare and low-pile floors, use an efficient cleaning path and come with a larger dirt compartment, are faster to charge, maneuver themselves more easily, and are easier to connect to smart home devices.
Shark RV1001AE IQ
This self-emptying robotic vacuum cleaner does a good job on low-pile carpet and hard flooring. Its combo brush reaches into edges and corners, and it automatically boosts suction when it senses carpet. It is also effective at cleaning dirt embedded in mid-pile carpet. The IQ has a small footprint and a self-emptying function. If you wish to alter the floor levels or set no-go areas, you'll need to manually reset the map.
The IQ app offers some advanced mapping and automated features, but it does not have no-go zones. These are available only on iRobot robots. The smart-pathing technology allows for superior maneuverability and the high-pile feature of its carpet cleaning mode is very effective but it could get caught on rug tassels.
In our tests during our tests, the IQ was capable of handling pet hair with ease, removing huge amounts of debris from bare floors and fair amounts of medium-pile carpet. It was less effective on shag carpets. It was unable to reach dirt and dust buried within the fibers. It was able navigate chair legs, small spaces, and even the base of an IKEA wooden step stool. We did notice it was a little slower on floors that were not paved, but it regained speed and performed more thoroughly than the other robots we tested.

The IQ is a more suitable choice for the majority of users than the iRobot Roomba. It has a larger dustbin, lasts longer on a charge, and is more capable of maneuvering itself over obstacles. It also comes with mopping attachments that can deal with sticky messes. The iRobot is, however, feels more sturdy and has less components that require replacement or maintenance and has lower ongoing costs, and can even create virtual no go zones using its companion application. It is able to continue cleaning from where it left off even if its battery runs out before it's finished. The iRobot can also be controlled via voice, which can be an enormous benefit for many users.
Eufy 11S
The eufy RoboVac 11S isn't the most feature-rich robot vacuum available but it does provide excellent cleaning power at an affordable price. It's designed for those who don't require a complex mapping system or an app to control the device. The robot can run for up to an hour and includes the remote, a cleaning tool, AC power adapter, charging base, and additional filters.
The 11S is slim, sleek and has a tempered-glass upper deck that looks like the brushed appearance of aluminum. It's a nice contrast to Roomba, Samsung, and Neato designs that are more utilitarian and industrial.
The eufy11S was successful in our tests of removing larger particles and fine dust from floors. It was unable to thoroughly clean high-pile and medium-pile carpets. The device is capable to bump into furniture and people along its route. However, it is able detect obstacles with sensors. It stops and emits a loud sound when it comes across an obstruction. You can then manually guide the device around it to get it to work again.
The BoostIQ mode is a great feature of the Eufy11S. It lets you set up the robot to automatically adjust suction strength based upon the type of floor and the level of dirt. It's also simple to use the remote to direct the 11S to where you want it to go.
Single Room Mode is a great alternative if you have a small amount of furniture in the space you'd like to vacuum. The eufy will spend up to 30 minutes cleaning the space it is assigned.
You can also choose Edge Cleaning that restricts the time spent in each location to 20 minutes to ensure optimal battery life. This option allows the eufy to move in a spiraling manner cleaning edges and corners.
Miele Complete C1
The Miele Complete C1 is an excellent mid-range canister robot vacuum that can be a great performer on carpet. Its performance is also excellent on floors with no floor. It can remove rice and other fine debris effortlessly. The suction power doesn't drop as the dirt bin fills. Its design is a breathable one and its air-sealed body will trap allergens to keep your family healthy. It comes with an onboard HEPA filter and a self-emptying dustbin, which means you don't need additional filters or a separate vacuum bag.
It's not as effective as the more expensive models, but it's ideal for deep cleaning and tackling the toughest stains. It comes with two cameras in front which provide a live feed to your smartphone. It also has one of the most advanced obstacle avoidance systems. It has a large bin, a long runtime and the ability to clean up quickly and without bumps.
robot vacuums to other robots unlike most other robots, Complete C1 can switch between a standard powerhead and a turbo head to suit different flooring types. The turbo head is ideal for low-pile and high-pile carpeting, while the standard powerhead is great on bare floors and lightweight rugs. It also comes with an automatic height adjustment system, which allows it to easily adjust to different kinds of flooring without manual adjustments.
This model comes bundled with an SBD 285-3 Classic Combination Floorhead that can handle hard floors as well as medium-pile carpeting. The powerhead is also easy to maneuver and can be used to reach difficult areas. It comes with five different adjustments to the surface and an off-brush switch to avoid tangled hairs.
The Classic C1 also has a self-cleaning brush roll and an UtraClean mode that goes across the same area three times for the best possible clean and a self-emptying bin that can be empty at the touch of one button. The noise level is slightly higher than that of other models, but its powerful 1,200-watt motor and sturdy build make it worth the extra cost.
If you're willing to pay more then the Miele Complete C3 is an excellent all-around canister robot vacuum that performs better on carpet than the Classic C1. It is better suited for any type of flooring, is more solidly constructed and comes with an HEPA filter.
