But I'm not the only one who has thought so.The only branding for the Olympics is on the back, with the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Games logo. While we've gotten used to displaying casebacks on basically everything under the sun, the closed caseback is more in line with what the original watches would have used. Under the caseback is the Omega Caliber 8807 automatic movement. It beats at 25,200 b.p.h., has 55 hours of power reserve, and is METAS Master Chronometer certified, with anti-magnetism up to 15,000 Gauss.
The actual stopwatch depicted during his Royal Highness's workout was retailed in London, as stated on the dial. I don't believe there is any true historic significance vested in this stopwatch, but it's always fun to see these things like this appear in pop culture.  And if you haven't seen The Crown, watch it!Although the watch has since been taken down, it reached bids as high as $24,000 while it was still active. I really hope someone didn’t make an offer to buy the watch outside of eBay, as they’ll be fake zenith watch left with a very tough watch to resell, or one they’ll have to take a massive hit on at minimum. See the listing here.The first version of the Journe resonance watch debuted in 2000, and since then, there have been a number of variations. The 2000 series was a subscription series, and the first actual collection was released in 2001. Major releases since then include a platinum-cased model with a ruthenium dial and a movement in 18k rose gold, a 2010 release with a digital 24-hour dial, and in 2019, a model with a 12 as well as a 24-hour dial.Oh, and who can forget the turquoise dial of the unique-piece titanium 5270 that comes up for auction on Monday during the Children Action gala in Geneva, with all proceeds going toward the philanthropic organization? I wouldn't be surprised if that sneaks by and ends up being one of the highest-performing Patek Philippe watches of the entire fall/winter season.
