Primarily composed of copper and known for its resistance to the elements, bronze was a natural choice to craft early maritime-oriented tools, including old-school diving helmets – which just so happens to be engraved on the stainless steel caseback of this watch. Quite the logical fit for a dive-centric tool watch, no?Finishing out this round-up with another dressy GMT, the limited edition SBGJ261 takes inspiration from a peacock's plumage in its rich royal blue hue and unique radial pattern. Originally released in 2017, the feather-like "Peacock" dial is made through a press pattern process applied to the dial itself, which requires the supervision and inspection of an experienced artisan along each step of the way.Inside the watch is the Neomatik caliber DUW3001, with a power reserve of 43 hours and an impressive height of 3.2mm. It sports the Nomos proprietary escapement, the Nomos Swing System, and features Glashütte striping and blued screws.
