I used the give command_block and I'm getting a green circuit board looking block. I does not work either. what am I doing wrong? v.1.8.5 single player survival mode cheat mode on

It might be Your texture pack, Please change to default texture Pack.

does not work either

Also You must change version to Mc 1.8.9 or 1.9.2
