Hot dog and soft drink is something of a food judge calling card, and it's understandable given the extraordinary bun-eclipsing size of the frankfurter you received for pure wallet change. The bun is soft. The dog is hot. It's a winning combination to be sure.
That said, it fell a little short of other things more up the record, as there is sufficient of a touch of textural oddness to tell you that, effectively, you are ingesting a huge and inexpensive warm dog. On stability, though, that one's still a winner.
People legitimately enjoy this point, which can be a lot like a mutant Warm Pocket stuffed with chicken, three kinds of cheese, bread, and Caesar salad dressing. That strange mishmash of flavors turns out to taste like somebody hollowed out a jumbo-sized breadstick and stuffed it with High Nightclub Type Chicken Pot Pie™ soup. Which, as you can tell by its positioning with this record, is not a bad thing.
Like anything else in the food court, it's strangely delicate and chewy, which can be not a critique. The nutmeg sugar dusting is nice and the churro, virtually the length of our hands, is a great deal. It's cakey and tasty and deserving of number snark whatsoever. It is our favorite dessert to catch at Costco.
The pizza at Costco isn't what you will call "great", at the very least by broader global pizza standards. You wouldn't end up like, "Hello Grade-School Basketball Group, let's all celebrate today's win with a good huge Costco pizza!" But you can well end up like, "Hey baby, let's produce amends for that battle we had in the detergent section with some amply sized pieces featuring what certainly appears to be cheese sitting atop some nearly alarmingly smooth dough."
Costco pizza is an apparent product of their time and place. And their position is Costco; their time is once you have a minute to move your overstuffed cart over. It serves this time in your life near perfectly. And for that, it deserves additional of your recognition. Or at the least an informal mind nod as you want your escape from the store.
