Why does the body itch when you have Hogkin lymphoma?

I guess it depends on the stage. You see, our immune system becomes compromised and is then unable to fight off an infection as it normally would. Check out that article about hodgkin's lymphoma https://myallamericanhospice.com/what-is-hodgkins-lymphoma/ and be sure that you are aware of all possible ways of treatment. Good luck

Pruritus (itching) may be confined to the hands, feet or lower legs, or it can affect the entire body. Researchers believe this effect is caused by cytokines, which are chemicals released by the body's immune system in response to lymphoma. Cytokines can irritate nerve endings in the skin and cause persistent itching.
