Because I do crafts and quilt, I have a lot of small bits of fabric that aren't big enough to use but are too big to throw away. So, a few years ago, I resolved to find a practical application for my leftovers. I make little handmade crafts and rag dolls that are intended to be used as Christmas decorations. It's time to use up some of the scraps I've gathered since the beginning of the year, which is why my work space is littered with small dolls, outfits, and yarns! There are just too many creative genres to list, but I'm convinced that each one, like my own, creates scrap. I'd be interested in learning more about your medium and how you've come up with creative ways to utilize up your scraps!
