So I bought a new home and my wife and I wanted to install our TV on top of the fireplace mantle. The issue we didn’t have a power outlet, only the gas fireplace switch. We called an electrical someone recommended, and he installed a switch/outlet combo. After this the fireplace stopped working. I believe he fried the millivolt system when he connected to same 110v ac. Any ideas how I could possibly remedy this if at all possible?!

It also seemed very strange to me that if you use 1100kwh, your bill will be much lower if you use only 900kwh. I never understood how this works. I've never been good at electricity. I also spent a lot on electricity, even if I used to keep the lights off for a long time. I didn't understand the cause, but I wasn't even trying to find an answer to that question. But the answer came to me alone. When the specialists from https://www.fordelectrical.co.uk/ came to install the lights in my yard, they told me that they were supposed to spend a lot of money on electricity because all the electrics are very old and that is why they should be replaced. I was shocked to hear that this was the cause. And I immediately decided it was time to change them. And since we changed them, we've spent very little on electricity. I think that's why you pay so much a month.
