Quick question for all the indie authors out there: how important is your book cover, really?
I’ve seen great stories get passed over because their covers look amateurish, and I’m wondering if I should invest in a pro designer.
Midwood Books lists book publishing and cover design support, but I’d love to know—did a professional cover actually help your sales or marketing?
Or is word-of-mouth still king?
