Hello all,
I'm not what you'd call a sharp cyclist (yet) but rather I do cycle irregularly, yet as of late I have focused on doing a Paris – London (weekend) good cause bike ride in memory of a dear companion of mine who spent toward the end of last year because of disease.
I've begun my preparation, yet I need to buy bike! As the crossbreed that I as of now own equitable will not do the work for this ride.
I'm 6ft2, 22 years of age, and weigh around 90kgs – would anyone be able to direct me on what I should search for in a Road bike? I have about £350 to spend – I realize this will not get me an extraordinary bike yet I comprehend at this cost I can get a nice section level for the present. I comprehend the Decathlon bikes are acceptable specs at the cost?
I'm glad to buy used off gumtree and so forth yet I need exhortation on what to search for in a bike, as my insight is genuinely restricted.
For instance – I've seen varying data online about outline size – some say 54cm is fine for my stature, others say I need at any rate 58-60cm, would anyone be able to explain?
Some other exhortation/data about what to search for would be truly valued, thank all of you!
