I’m looking to buy a new Windows 10 desktop PC primarily for playing Minecraft, and I’d love to get some advice from fellow Minecraft enthusiasts. I want a system that can handle the game smoothly, especially with mods, shaders, and higher render distances, but I’m not sure which specs to prioritize.

Here’s my situation: I play Minecraft Java Edition, and I often use modpacks like OptiFine, Shaders, and Create Mod, which can be pretty demanding. My current setup struggles with lag, especially when I crank up the settings.

I’ve been looking at pre-built Windows 10 desktops.

A few specific questions:

What’s the ideal CPU and GPU combination for running Minecraft with mods and shaders smoothly?

How much RAM do I need? Is 16GB enough, or should I go for 32GB?
