Uniswap is an automated liquidity protocol (decentralized exchange) that uses smart contracts built on top of Ethereum. The protocol users can either use it to exchange tokens or become liquidity providers. To become a liquidity provider, the user deposits an equivalent amount of a pair of tokens in the desired smart contract and earns pool tokens. With every transaction, liquidity providers earn new tokens.

Chainlink is a decentralized oracle network that provides tamper-proof I/O for any blockchain. The most popular application of Chainlink is price feed which connects smart contracts to real-world asset prices. Other applications connect smart contracts with other data, medical data, shipping date, weather data, etc. The applications are endless.

1Inch is a decentralized liquidity and aggregation protocol that provides cost-efficient and secure transitions. The protocol user can earn passive income by providing liquidity to 1Inch liquidity pools. In addition to that, the user can earn 1Inch tokens from yield farming.

Lido DAO is an Ether staking platform that allows users to earn staking rewards without maintaining stacking infrastructure. To stake Ether without using Lido, the user has to stake 32 Ethers and needs to have a good understanding of the staking infrastructure, however, Lido allows everyone to participate in a staking pool without depositing 32 Ethers or maintenance.

Liquity is an interest-free decentralized borrowing protocol that accepts Ether as collateral. The minimum collateral to be deposited is 110% and the borrower gets LUSD which is a stable coin pegged to the US dollar.
