What are some example of things you were dubious or worried about buying - maybe because they were expensive, or you weren't sure if they would be good - but with totally turned out to be worth every penny? Like proper transformative stuff that you'd recommend to anyone?

Recently I bought sportswear and thought it was a waste of money because I hate sport. However, I changed my mind and started going to the gym. I made one more purchase and wait for shipping. I contacted prep sportswear customer service and turned out my order will be shipped tomorrow.
