Well, today is the first day of operation "Feed Lexi raw food". I thought it would be nice to keep a two-week diary so that anyone who is nervous before this step can follow the beginner.

Lexi is fed twice a day, her main meal is 200 g of meat in the morning and about 110 g of meat for tea.

Today we started the raw feeding with her tea.

She had just eaten her first chicken leg for tea... From the very beginning, she was a little embarrassed, licked it for a good five minutes, took a bite, peeled off the skin, and then tried to swallow it whole!!!!! blinking: anyway, because of the advance warning, I was watching her very closely, so I grabbed the other end and held it so that she had to chew and break the bone. Except for a very small incident when she bit my finger (OH!!!!) instead of a chicken leg, everything went very well, and she seemed to like it .... Minced chicken for tomorrow for breakfast.

It's good that your turtle has become much better. Amazingly, the dog behaved so terribly. My Labrador has been friends with my turtle since the first day. It seems to me that everything depends on the character of both animals here, and I was just lucky. After such an incident, I am now afraid for my turtle :) But I think that this will not happen because my dog Mike is good and never touches anyone. For this, I respect and love her very much. Perhaps she behaves adequately because I periodically give her different supplements and vitamins. Maybe that's the point, although I'm not sure. I hope everything will be fine with your turtle.
