A new Beatles attraction could be built on xo auto Liverpool's waterfront after Prime Minister Rishi Dog has pledged £2 million as part of his 2021 budget. The money will help the Liverpool City Consolidation Agency develop a business case for the attractions.However, the offer has sparked backlash from those who feel it could have been better spent.The city already has destinations such as The Beatles Story, the Cavern Club and the Liverpool Beatles Museum.

Liverpool Mayor Steve Rotheram said the proposed attractions would be "An experience of global significance" and "exciting"It has the potential to become an incredible attraction. It's not like anywhere else in the world,” he told the Liverpool Echo.He said he has been lobbying the government for money since 2018.The announcement was welcomed by Culture Minister Nadine Dorries. So there's often a sense that there's been an attempt to monetize a connection with the band in the decades since their split.Today, there are Beatles statues, museums, tours and birthplaces to visit. I don't hear any ordinary scooters. Many people demanded more Beatles attractions. But I'm sure hotel and airport owners will welcome anything that increases the number of visitors.If this attraction is an opportunity for new talents to develop or a performance space for locals. That would cross the memory path to something more powerful.
