I have a lot of HUE bulbs and stuff. And honestly, I just cannot see justifying the insanely high Phillips prices for the next stage of house lighting.
I am just looking to do things like under cabinets, some crown molding ambiance, etc.
I just don't know where to start there are so many different sets of light strips out there. And I need them for such a variety of applications (for example cabinet lights are going to need multiple shorter strips, while crown lights will take basically one gigantic strip etc.)
Everything I do is usually SmartThings, Google Home, and IFTTT. So it needs to work with that. Also needs to have full range of color and brightness.
I found a few different ones but honestly I am just lost ....
The options just go on and on. Please help!!! lol
Dear OP. I understand your concerns perfectly. I personally like LEDs more than light bulbs because they create a dim and soft light in my room. I also like that they can be controlled from a smartphone and that, in this way, I can change the atmosphere in a room. It was two years ago, and they still work, and the light is still strong and beautiful. So, if you decide to choose LEDs, I can recommend these ones as a good variant.
