With so many people being laid-off in the last recession, and realizing that the economic upturn in the business cycle will be a jobless recovery, there are millions of people going online as we speak trying to find employment. Many are using the Internet to identify companies they like to work for. Once they find a good target company, they mail them their resume. Most smart job shoppers will find out all they can about the company before going into an interview. Over the past two years, I have written over 150 articles on this topic of employment and careers. And I was writing articles while the unemployment rates were 4.5%. At that time I felt like I was the only one creating online content in this category. Now, many people have swarmed this subject online, and are producing incredible amounts of content. However, not all of it is what it is cracked up to be. If you are going to write articles on careers and employment, I'd like to make as few suggestions to you.

First, I'd like to remind you that many people are so desperate to get a job that they may not be concerned about the long-term aspect of taking a job in any industry. In fact, many people are taking a job that they cannot stand, because it is all that is available. If they are that desperate, I guess it makes sense to them, however in the long run it will turn out to be a mistake and lead to unintended consequences in their future.

It is only fair that you let people know of these problems, and explains the industry they are considering, how jobs like that work, what type of personality can handle those jobs, and their prospects for upward mobility in their career. Please consider all this, as it's only fair to your readers.
