Wait for the power LED to turn solid when you plug the extender into an electrical outlet close to your router. To connect to the extender's default network name (SSID), use the Wi-Fi settings on your device. Launch a web browser and type the extender's default IP address (often 192.168.10.1) into the address bar. You are then directed to the wavlink extender setup page. You will be led through the configuring procedure by the setup wizard. Make sure your extender's network name (SSID) and password are different from those on your router when setting them up. Additional settings, including wireless modes, channel selection, and security choices, can be tailored if required. Once everything is set up, use the new SSID and password you created to reconnect your devices to the newly expanded network.
