In order to log in to Canvas at the University of Minnesota, you will need your XID and password. Your XID is your eight-digit student ID number, and your password is the same password you use to log in to other University of Minnesota services. Once you have entered your XID and password, you will be taken to the Canvas Dashboard. From here, you can access your courses, view announcements, and messages, submit assignments, and more.
