To fix this issue on Outlook, you can rebuild your Outlook index. Start by clicking on the windows at the bottom-left corner of the screen to open Control Panel on your computer. In the control panel, go to Programs and then to Programs & Features. Now, to fix Outlook search indexing not working, scroll down and select Outlook 2016 or Microsoft Office. Click on Change from the top menu and either choose Quick Repair or Online Repair.
