Open the browser on your computer or laptop and go to myaccount.google.com. Login to your account using correct credentials. Click on Security tab on the left and scroll down to find 2-step verification – click on it to enable Gmail two-factor authentication. Click on the Get Started button and follow the on-screen instruction to complete the setup. Lastly, enter your password. Select Try it now and add a phone number that Google can send the six-digit verification code to and click Send. Verify you phone number by entering this security code in the column and click on Next. You should see the Next option- click on it to enable.
