First be informed that you will get Emirates ID only if you are holding an employment or residence or student visa. So, if you are holding of of these then getting Emirates id is not a problem. The fee of the Emirates id depends on the period of your residence permit. For example if you are working in UAE govt.dept. then you have to pay AED 370, if you are holding an employment visa issued from a private company then you have to pay AED 270. if you are holding a domestic servant visa then you have to pay AED 170.
