Hand sanitizer gel from sanitizing misting services is often 62% ethanol or propane-1-ol. This is only around 50% stronger than gin, and you only need a few milliliters to wash your hands. Furthermore, alcohol is highly volatile, and virtually all of it will evaporate before being absorbed.
