I learned I synthetics, too, but once I got my first set of natural fiber I never looked back. As long as mynawashi is selling jbo-free jute rope at $5 for a 24 ft rope, there's no reason to use synthetic unless you just love it. What you buy recetly?

Hello, What's the lay like on the shibari rope? Part of the reason I say that is that almost all available jute is loose lay, so you get a lot of high stranding if your pulling technique isn't tight.
