Which diode laser is best? That is a question many people often ask when they are considering replacing their current light source. Some folks are not sure what to look for in a diode laser, while others seem to know exactly what to look for. But that diode laser is best? This question actually goes back to when people first started using electricity to power things like lights and appliances.

Back then, they used diodes, but when it was discovered that getting rid of the diodes and passing the current through the vacuum resulted in an arc that produced a brighter light, they went back to putting the diodes in the light. This time, they used tungsten. Over the years, the diodes they used became transparent, so that we could see the light coming through, but they still didn't use a diode laser because they figured that they would eventually have to come up with something better.

Well, they didn't have much time, and soon enough came up with the idea of using diode laser machine that were coated on the surface of the semiconductor. This made the light coming through even brighter, so they figured they might as well go with the idea. They knew they had to find a way to control the heat that was created during the course of the laser diode's operation, but they couldn't stop people from pointing all manner of questions at them asking, which diode laser is best. Eventually, someone was able to figure out how to use vacuum tubes to do the same thing, but this only worked because you could crank up the heat as much as you wanted. They had to find a way to keep the heat down, which meant they had to modify their designs again.
