In July 1997, UK magazine The Face ran a five-page story on "Teleclubbers", a new raver subset apparently turning to Teletubbies for their "post-club comedown". Dedicated fan pages began appearing online. At London's Imperial College the campus activities calendar included airtimes and episode highlights.
