For a project I'm doing with huge mountains over Y 2000, I noticed some water streams and lakes at ~Y 600 began to freeze. At first I didn't understand, until I figured out it had to do with the biome temperature. I saw a lot of people talking about changing this temperature to another value, but no one really seems to go in depth how to change it.
