Was Aragorn the true king of Gondor?

True fans of the Lord of the Rings movie know that Aragorn was the true king of Gondor. This is evidenced by the White-Tree-of-Gondor, which according to legend, was supposed to bloom again. This tree was not cut down because it was left as a hope for the return of the true king of Gondor. And on this day, when Aragorn returned, the tree began to bloom and came back to life again. I think this is a great legend. Tolkien is just a genius. He thought through every detail of the whole story.
