Hey everyone,

I'm having some trouble while trying to play Minecraft on my 4K gaming monitor, and I could really use some help.

Whenever I try to launch Minecraft or start a game session, I encounter an error that seems to be related to the display settings or resolution. The game either crashes to the desktop or displays a black screen, and sometimes I get a pop-up error message saying, "Minecraft has run out of memory" or "OpenGL Error: 1286 (Invalid framebuffer operation)."

System Specs:

Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 CPU: Intel Core i7-12700K RAM: 32GB DDR4 Minecraft Version: 1.20.4 Operating System: Windows 11 Pro

Things I've Tried:

Updated Graphics Drivers: I’ve made sure my graphics drivers are up-to-date. Adjusted In-Game Settings: I tried lowering the resolution and graphics settings, but the issue persists. Checked Monitor Settings: Verified that the monitor settings are correctly configured for 4K resolution. Reinstalled Minecraft: Did a fresh install of the game, but no luck.

Error Details: The error message usually appears as “Minecraft has run out of memory” or “OpenGL Error: 1286 (Invalid framebuffer operation).” Sometimes, the game just crashes to the desktop without any message. I also noticed that sometimes the game freezes with a black screen before crashing.

Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix it? I’m wondering if there might be a compatibility issue with 4K monitors or if there’s a specific setting I need to adjust either in Minecraft or on my monitor.

Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance
