Better Fire Charges by zennel

Better Fire Charges is a command blocks system which add some utility to the craftable Fire Charge.

Just drop a Fire Charge on the ground and it will transform into a Fireball in 5 seconds.

For security purposes this will only work if the Item (entity) contains only one Fire Charge (to prevent problems when you sort out your inventory or to consume several Charges for one Fireball)

Just run the command once in your spawn chunks, the system will build itself and will work everywhere you are.
