A congregational church is a Protestant Church in the Calvinist tradition. They practice congregationalist governance. Each and every congregation in a congregational church has the rights to run its own affairs independently. Congregationalists have shared the beliefs and practices of the more liberal mainline Evangelical Protestant churches. Congregationalists who run a congregational church expect each member of the church to have a personal relationship with God as the motivating force in his or her life. While at non denominational church, Pastors and older adults help, guide, and support you during prayer and worship at these churches. Many nondenominational churches are conservative, as many denominations have remained unchanged since the beginning of time.
