I personally prefer to keep my home light. I even bought my solar flagpole light last year on Amazon and it has been working fine until now. It is warranted for life. Oh, and it has some super cool functions too! I didn’t know that it could detect light (it will turn off in the day and turn on in the evening). Oh and in case you are worrying if it is the right choice to make, then don’t worry because it fits most flagpoles from 15-25 feet. Another bonus is that there’s no need to think about how you will set up the wires and the electric connections, because it’s solar powered.
