I am selling my John Deere 955 tractor, and wanted to post it on this forum first to give hunters a first look. Also, it's been challenging figuring out fair market value for the tractor, and I am hoping some people here might have an opinion of value and or could give me some links to resources to determine fair market value.

Highlights: 4WD 33 hp engine, 27 hp @ PTO. 1296 hours, very good mechanical condition. Includes 70A loader arms and 60" bucket. New Ag tires and rims were put on new a couple years ago. The rear tires are filled with beet juice; the front tires have an inner tube/air. Turf tires are also available if you want them.

I also believe that in theory you can get a little more than 6 thousand dollars for such a tractor. I googled a bit to find similar ones and they cost around $12k in perfect, new condition, $4k-$5k used, but if you have a tractor in good condition I think you can get $6.5k-$8k. Here is an example of a very similar used tractor, FARMTRAC FT22 4WD from machinerydealer.co.uk. It costs roughly 9-9.5 thousand dollars here, but, firstly, it is also in very good condition, and secondly, it will be slightly better in terms of characteristics than yours.
